So you unit reads out MPH? That is kinda freaky....
My motorhome speedo is in MPH but the Garmin can be set to read either MPH or KPH.
My Volvo is in KPH only so when travelling in your fair country I switch the Garmin over so I know how fast I am going. The brain is getting too old to do a rapid translation. Of course we usually travel at 100KPH  but I would not suggest that you do 100 MPH in Canada as the RCMP have no sense of humour.

No worries.  My 345 wouldn't make 100mph, and if it did I wouldn't want to be in it.
  100kph I can and do do.
