I have seen a Rectrans Discovery that could be mine for $ 5,000 in rapidly shrinking  Canadian dollars. I am working on the idea that if you are going to drive to the poor house at 6 miles to the gal.you should do it with dignity. The 6 miles as of today costs just over $5 here Vancouver B.C. Has any anyone heard of this brand? I do know it has a Chry. 413 /frame. The internet hasn"t given up any thing on it . I do recall hearing that they were made to look like the space shuttle Discovery. I would think they must have been a low production  M.H. Your thoughts and advice please Ladies and Gentlemen. Not my first M.H. but at 65 I"ll bet it"s my last. THANK YOU ALL     Steve

Cooperhawk. There is a second one for sale at www.goldenrod-garage.com, other interesting stuff/page 2 at the bottom. this is where I got my info. I then went to see the one I would like to buy here in B.C. Not sure I can do it but I found out a long time ago HOPE isn",t just a small town in Texas. Think you will enjoy the Discovery. Steve

Actually, the tag line is a George Carlin line that I modified by adding "berets".

Rectransman Thank you. Yes I have seen one here in British Columbia. No pictures, as the M.H. is out on an island and put up for the winter plus the round trip on the ferry does terrible things to a $100 bill.
Next sping will be the earliest I can get over there.Sorry.Can tell you it was in great shape.I've built bus conversions and rebuilt 4 trailers so some thing that I plan on is the next one being mint.Just hope it happens that way.
Tried your web site but couldn't get on.I'll give it a try later but if you could give me some back ground on the site, everyone can have an idea what we are talking about. When I put request on the site people wanted no what it was.
It has a 413 and as a Chryco fan not one of my favorites.
The colour is white and it ran/drove well.guess my burning questions are who-when-where and how many if anyone knows. Is his price off the wall or do I want to much for way to little as usual.
    Thanks a million Steve.
