The switch on the top of my fridge has been on the fritz since we purchase our 345.  It works, then doesn't then does.  For a while we could shove a blade connector under the sliding switch and it would stay one.  Recently it's been getting worse.

I went up to Camping World today to see if I could get a replacement.  After all, we're headed to the Colimbus Marathon tomorrow and anything less than really cold beer for the runners after the race could lead to a homicide.

They wanted $130 for the switch and another $20 for the little plastic slider and it was a three week lead on a special order part.  What ?!!!!

On my way out I saw my friend Tom Stinnett (Stinnett RV Center).  He said they carry a lot of that stuff and to check with parts in the back.  Sure enough, they had the part - for $62.  Showed me how to pop the slider off mine and put on the new one in ten seconds.

So the Airstream is plugged in out front, the fridge is cold and the beer is ready.
