Ooooo I found it. I hope he just got sucked into all the negative. I can't imagine Rick would slam MH's intentionally that way....  I think it is may be out of context... I hope..

I'm getting more more interested in all types of Classics, thinking it is more fun than all the same.
Have always enjoyed mixing with everyone, tents, pop-ups, busses, first timers are even fun.
Must remember what is going on, and the perseption we may have, and go overboard in the opposite direction.
I'm going to start going up to more of the older units and meeting them.

That was the idea for this site. Anyone, anything, anywhere. Way more fun that way.

I went back over and got my two cents in as well.  There are some folks on that forum that are mentally ill.

Prior to getting Sammie we had a 2002 Safair 25, I don't ever recall thinking of trading up or down, just moving on.  I think Rick and Sandy and others like them are actually the elitist snobs that they believe moho owners to be.  They have lost sight of what the whole Airstream/camping experience is really about.  It's supposed to be a forum about Airstreaming not politics.  Your post took the words right of my mouth.

I went back again and added some more, but I've been warned about calling them stupid already and I don't want to let them get me mad again.  It doesn't really matter all that much in the grand scheme of things does it?  We have a better home on this forum anyway.

Having all these SOB's on our site here is like waving garlic in front of a vampire.  Should keep the big mouths from the forum away.  Have you noticed the Motorhome Owners that are sucking up to them?   It really is the snobbery of the trailer owners that causes a lot of the trouble.   The folks that are trying to be their friends will get slammed  pretty soon too.

We have been to wbcci rallys where the trailer owners weren't all that friendly towards us.  What a shame!!  I actually have more fun just parking in a campground with all kinds of rigs and visiting with everyone about their unit.  I own an Airstream because of the quality, not because of a snobby club.

I have to say that is really weird about the controversy. We have 3 or 4 if you count me that have a Coach, always the center of attention. I've sent PMs to some that get carried away, I keep my opinion more or less private. The dark side is strong. I am thinking it is mostly winter doldrums...

Almost ashamed to be associated with that mental mindset.
Is kinda what us SOBs and tenters thought of AS owners as a whole.
Just did not think was true.
I going to make sure no fellow campers think of us that way.

Glad I got mine based on looks and not a click.

I'm sure we're all better looking than they are.  Better lookin wives too.  I went back at lunch time and threw a hand grenade and left.  Checked a minute ago and the piranha were all over me.  Gotta keep the animals excersized.  I hope they lay awake nights over it.  I sure as hell don't.

Actually, I'm a nice guy.  Did you follow the tales of the "Gunner"?  That was when I was evil.  That was fun too.
