I've received a number of suggestions to add Private Messages to the site. I'm happy to report it's now live and completely integrated with our forums module.
Private Messages allow members to send messages to other members via the website. These messages are private, meaning they are not displayed on the forums, or publicly.

My Private Messages or by clicking on the "Message Button"
